Gardening enthusiasts, what plant is that?
I would like to know the name of a plant that grows near my house. I'm in the Sunshine Coast, Australia. I've seen in Brisbane as well. It has grass-like leaves (which I think are tubular rather than flat) and has purple flowers. It has a very distinctive smell – I can smell it before seeing it. I do not think the smell of the flower, not a perfume as such. Its more like a smell of strong blade. Any ideas? I send a picture, but I am unable of the time.
