soap flakes laundry
Do any of you use soap in your washing machine instead of powder?
I'm trying to be more environmentally friendly and avoid harsh chemicals. I read on the side of my soapflake package that can be used with a washing machine so I did a load of clothes and seem to have gone well. Do any of you use this instead of the wheel and it works so well? What to do with the spots? Does the white? I was using Persil. The soapflakes the clothes are rinsed well and there does not seem to be any residue.
I prefer a liquid detergent, as well …. if you're worried about being environmentally environment, can make your own detergent. I found this recipe (Though I have used or know someone who has, it does sound like it's fairly straight forward and does sound like it would work …. as are the materials!)
