duggar family soap recipe

Anyone know any other "natural" or "frugal" advice?

We just bought our first house. It was an execution mortgage and the property is not really in bad shape, just a lot of cleaning and minor repairs. We have two children and they have a long history of asthma, allergies. I've been trying to switch to natural cleaning solutions (such as baking soda, white vinegar, etc) instead of all chemicals to replace really hard. I'm also doing my own laundry soap, following the Duggar family recipe. Does anyone know of other cleaning solutions profuse that I can use? Also I'm trying to be very frugal and friendly budget, so any advice would be appreciated! We are trying to start a more "natural" way live, ie, natural foods, natural cleaning products, etc, because we realize that our children have fewer problems with allergies and asthma in this manner. Any advice would be appreciated!

When you buy pre-packaged food, you never know what chemicals some of the ingredients have been processed with, as bleach, and believe it or not worse than that. A good way is just to start cooking from scratch more. Although it is one of those things that's easier said than done (on all with two kids). But you'd be surprised how easy it is to make homemade breads and cereals (which is where you will find a lot of tough chemically processed flour and hydrogenated oils). Yogurt is also super easy and can be done with just a little milk, a clay pot and a little above bowl culture. Grow your own production as possible as this seriously reduces the cost and chemicals. Just look where you live and thrive best to make it there easy for yourself instead of trying to grow things that just do not work well in your area. Fruit trees are fairly easy and take care of themselves. Herbs and spices grow like weeds everywhere to use in salads, or dried to make tea. As for cleaning, you can do almost anything you need with borax castile soap flakes, lemon, vinegar and baking soda. If you can not do with that, then you do not need, in my opinion. You can also make your toothpaste own very easy too, although that is something that is fairly cheap to buy, but then you know exactly what goes into it. Composting can also reduce waste and create a nice fertilizer you can use or sell. You can also obtain guides at your local university / college botany / horticulture dept flew guide in a local library on edible wild plants. These are free, loaded with nutrients and are probably already growing right under your feet.
