Why can not I use the BBC iPlayer to catch up on soap operas when I am abroad?
If it is because of the television license, Why can not I see Corrie on the ITV abroad?
Wrong About the license. We live in Belgium and pay the license fee for the BBC as part of our share of cable. BBC 1 and BBC 2 can be received in both the cable network in Belgium. The reason for the iPlayer does not work abroad has to do with streaming.
